Let's Chat!

Yeah!!! The weather is warmer and the flowers are blooming. Best of all, the daylight hours are longer with each passing day. This means that I can sit on my porch and guess what I do? I stitch. I bet that doesn't surprise you at all.

For years I have been reluctant to take my stitching outside because of the possibility of getting it dirty especially from my hands. But I have found a wonderful gadget that will help me keep my stitching cleaner.

I saw Debbie of DebBee's Designs at a trade show and she showed me the best way to save my stitching from my dirty, oily hands. Debbie showed me something she called a Bar Buddy. It is a soft, stretchy and reusable cover that you stretch around your stitching. It is made by an organization called Arkansas CARES (a nonprofit prevention and treatment program). Each buddy is manufactured and packaged by the women in treatment at Arkansas CARES. Just go onto Debbie's website DebBeesDesigns.com and see exactly what this gadget is. I think you will really want to order at least one size right away.

Now that I have steered you to my latest find, I'm off to stitch while sitting on my back porch smelling the fragrant flowers and watching the birds at my bird feeder.

Happy stitching!
